Computer Appreciation Community Development Service - Project Details

Project Description

Conducted a community development service project during my National Youth Service program in Nasarawa, Nigeria. Identified a need for computer literacy in the community and collaborated with a colleague to establish a free computer appreciation class at Shuaibu Ibrahim E-library.

Achievements

  • Taught introductory computer skills, MS Office applications, internet safety, and other topics to over 250 students
  • Graduated 2 sets of students from the computer appreciation program
  • Provided training and support for students preparing for their JAMB CBT matriculation examination
  • Assisted with system administration, networking, eBooks database management, and other tasks
